Georgetown Kushcakes was officially founded in Washington D.C. when two friends noticed a lacking of high-end edible brands in the cannabis market. Since then the team has grown out substantially, offering 20+ varieties of THC infused edible gifts to the D.C. Market. Chef Phil

Executive Chef Phil Frederick is dedicated to culinary excellence. Boasting an impressive twenty-year resume of experience at world-class restaurants, Phil discovered his love for food and the highest-quality ingredients growing up on his family’s dairy farm. He chased that passion through his education, mentorships, and hard work at the most prestigious Chicago restaurants under world-class chef mentors Gabino Sotelino and Susan Weaver, becoming Executive Chef at Mon Ami Gabi and later at McCormick & Schmick’s. That same love of food lives on in his work at Georgetown Kushcakes, bolstered by his classical training in traditional French, Spanish, and regional American cuisines.
